AZMN Central Highlands Chapter Field Trip – Elden Pueblo Site

July 17 @ 8:45 am - 12:00 pm

Dear naturalists: With lots of excitement, the Field Trip/Advanced Training Committee is happy to announce our first all-cohort field trip on July 17 to Elden Pueblo, an archaeological site near Flagstaff, Arizona 🌄 ! Attached is a flyer with a bit of information about the Elden Pueblo site, and here is a Google Sheet where you can sign up for the trip and find carpool-enabling information.
Elden Pueblo Sign-up
If you don’t use Google Sheets, or if you have any questions about the sign-up or carpooling, just ask Kathy and she’ll put you on the list.

Additional details:
Sue Halvorsen has arranged for a guided experience at Elden Pueblo – this field trip will count toward your required hours in Advanced Training!! If you have any questions about the field trip itself, contact Sue at: suehalvorsen@me.com
This is a half-day event. Please plan to arrive at Elden Pueblo at 8:45 a.m. on July 17; the event will wrap up around 12 noon. My app shows a drive time from Prescott of 1 hr 36 min.
Bring your own sack lunch and fluids – there is a picnic area we can use!
You are invited to bring a spouse/friend, but there will be a 30-person limit, so be sure to sign up early.
Please complete the sign up sheet no later than June 29 so we can finalize details with our guide.
In the event that wildfires in the area and/or inclement weather mess with our plans, there will be a local alternative (TBA).
Can’t make it to this field trip??? Don’t fret – we have ideas for dozens of field trips and another AZMNCH excursion will be planned for the fall!
